PROJECT BRIEF

Dick Duff’s Organic Jerky began in 1989 and remained a small but successful business for more than twenty-five years. When new investors joined the management team in 2015, a decision was time to take the company national.

It was time to reimagine the company, and new investors wanted a complete revitalization of their current brand.

The scope of the project was immense, including all elements of the brand and brand assets ranging from the logo and packaging itself to other print and digital marketing materials that would be needed to promote the new image, reach new customers and ultimately grow revenue. In a highly competitive market for packaged foods, we knew we needed to knock this project out of the park.

The resulting brand was rustic yet polished, reflecting the humble roots of the company’s origin while also improving its appeal to a national audience. The new colour palette stands out beautifully against the soft white of the new packaging and truly sets this brand apart from its competitors on store shelves.

Dick Duff’s Organic Jerky is now available nationwide and the company plans to begin distribution in the US by 2021.
